You Only Live Twice is only two weeks away, so I sat back down with previous guest Leonard F. Chikarason for an in-depth chat about his own thoughts and feeling on CHIKARA’s shut-down and ressurection, as well as the future of the promotion.
We also talked a bunch about comic books, so keep listening through the end music for another twenty minutes of chat from myself and Mr. Chikarason.
Event Center (5.16.2014) ft. 3.0 and UltraMantis Black, and an exclusive “You Only Live Twice” match announcement!
Full Free Match: Mike Quackenbush vs. Eddie Kingston from “High Noon” (11.13.2011); the finals of the 12 Large Summit to determine the first ever CHIKARA Grand Champion.
At “You Only Live Twice” on 5.25.2014, The Spectral Envoy (UltraMantis Black, Hallowicked & Frightmare) battle the reformed and revamped Brüderschaft des Kreuzes (Ares, Nøkken & Milo Schnitzler) in trios action.
The Envoy and BDK are old enemies of one another. Ares and Mantis battled over the Eye of Tyr for a number of years, while Hallowicked took umbrage with former BDK member Tim Donst. Naturally, with the BDK re-emerging to erase CHIKARA from history, the Envoy would be the first in line to fend them off. The BDK may have the advantage on their side, as two of the three men on their team have never been seen in action before, while Ares is well versed in the Envoy’s arsenal. Which team will come out on top as they re-kindle their long time rivalry in Easton?
As summer begins like it does every May, we look forward to August and September which bring us a Superior return, no less that FOUR comic related TV shows on the fall schedule. But fear not, Todd & Leonard are in the here and now with con talk, comic talk, Godzilla talk and the old walkin’ talk.

Rough Waters - Part 2 with Dalton Castle
With just 12 days until CHIKARA returns, this blog has hit 1,000 followers. I know that sounds low relatively speaking, but to me it means the world.
Thank you everybody for reblogging, retweeting, sharing, and just following along. A special thanks to all who created content that I was able to reblog and keep this blog semi-active during CHIKARA’s hiatus. It’s been a fun 3+ years since I’ve started this blog and I’m happy to have made some friends through it.
You’re the best,
Jimmy Jacobs vs. Archibald Peck is the latest encounter signed for “You Only Live Twice” on May 25, 2014 in Easton, PA.
Nobody would have guessed that Jimmy Jacobs of all people would have made his presence felt at National Pro Wrestling Day 2014, let alone as the de facto leader of the group of villains who stormed the Palmer Community Center to try and put an end to CHIKARA’s attempt at resurrection. Even though he had some words in the May 2nd Event Center, his motives have yet to be entirely explained. Someone else made a big splash at National Pro Wrestling Day as well. After disappearing at “Tag World Grand Prix 2013”, Archibald Peck returned from parts unknown in the famous DeLorean (with 3.0 in tow) to help his CHIKARA brethren fend off the seemingly insurmountable odds that lie in their wake. With clearly opposing view points, it makes sense that these two would collide. It would be a nice feather (or would that be plume?) in Peck’s hat to knock off Jacobs and set “The Flood’s” agenda back an item or two. Will Peck be successful, or will Jacobs’s passion for conquest be too much for Marchie Archie?
Full Free Match: The BDK (Claudio Castagnoli & Ares) defend Los Campeonatos de Parejas against 3.0 (Scott “Jagged” Parker & Shane Matthews) at “Eye to Eye” (9.18.2010), chosen by Mike Quackenbush.
